If you’ve got a family and need some holiday cheer, downtown Santa Monica is the place to be Saturday.
Winterlit 2005 fun on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade is a chance for families to come together and share the holiday spirit, event organizers say. Parents can get in some “hassle-free” shopping while the kids play. Kids of all ages will enjoy playing in the snow, riding ponies, a petting zoo, and interactive booths featuring toy play and arts and crafts.
The festivities will run from noon to 4 p.m. on all three blocks of Third Street Promenade, between Wilshire Boulevard and Broadway.
