Franklin Elementary School is having its Third Annual Multicultural Faire on Sunday. The event for the first time will introduce “The Wealth of Nations Foundation and Embrace,” a nonprofit entity helping youth and specifically targeting at-risk youth. The organization will present a fashion show featuring Santa Monica High School students modeling clothes from throughout the world.
Renowned singer Joy Graysen will begin the event singing the national anthem, followed by a new song about diversity, called “Greater than the Sun.”
It will be an international potluck with performances, arts and crafts, and an international exhibit room showing that will take place throughout the day.
