Clover Park is a great (large!) park, with a variety of amenities and uses. Sports fields and courts, picnic areas, quiet glades, exercise circuit, multiple play areas, etc. Not being able to integrate Clover Park into the Santa Monica Airport master plan reveals a lack of imagination.
Trusting the process is no guarantee of success. The last time this much community outreach and study occurred was for Ishihara Park. As built, the park is almost always dead and deserted.
Finally, even conceptually considering the conversion of Clover Park into 'The Stroll', when the financial underpinnings of the airport conversion are undefined, does not send a message of good governance.
Best wishes,
