Re: (”Bauer’s critical of Critical Mass,” SMDP, page 4, Sept. 24) Hey Bill Bauer, how many lives do you think George Russel Weller would have taken if he plowed his bicycle through the Farmer's Market back in 2003? I highly doubt he would have made it past the guy who sharpens knives. He may have reached the honey guy if you take “pedal error” into consideration. The SMPD needs to redirect it's police enforcement to the Pico Neighborhood where they might actually stop some murders. Let he who hasn't broken a traffic law cast the first stone. Bauer, this means you.
