Several days ago I voiced some gripes regarding my concerns about some technical difficulties with new microfilm-reading equipment. The very next day I was approached by Librarian Diane Bednarski. Bednarski was very pleasant and took time from her busy schedule to allow me to demonstrate and explain the problems I was having. She was patient and informative and very polite and professional. I am comforted to know that the management at the main library really does hear and respond to patron concerns. As I write this letter there are technicians working on the new machines. I want to thank Bednarski, Greg Mullen, and all the rest of the staff for their quick response and sincere concern for all the patrons. They are an impressive lot that any city library would be lucky to have.
