DOWNTOWN — Emergency personnel rescued a lost diver who went missing for several hours in the Santa Monica Bay Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The 32-year-old man was found around 5 p.m. at the surface conscious and breathing and was transported to a local hospital, officials said.
The Coast Guard, lifeguards, Harbor Guards and Santa Monica fire and police departments canvassed the ocean half a mile west of the Annenberg Community Beach House looking for the man.
It's not clear exactly where he was found.
