More work means more money. Due to a number of revisions and an increased scope of work for the City Hall Seismic Retrofit project, engineering firm Black and Veatch is seeking nearly $309,000 more to its existing contract.

The enhancement in the contract is necessary for the consultant to complete the design work for improvements to the old jail and electric room.
