Police are looking for a man who last week tried to lure a teen-age girl into his van while exposing himself to her.
On June 12 at about 4 p.m., a man pulled his van next to the girl who was walking home in the area of Beverly Avenue and Ocean Park Boulevard. The victim reported that the suspect followed her for two blocks while exposing himself to her. When his attempts to get her into his vehicle failed, he left the area south on Fifth Street toward Ocean Park Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a white male with a light complexion, in his 30’s, wearing a T-shirt and shorts. He was driving a full size white van.
Anyone having any additional information is urged to call the Santa Monica Police Department, Investigations Division at (310) 458-8451.
