The Shiatsu Massage School of California is hosting its 20th anniversary celebration this week in Santa Monica with dinner and entertainment.

The school is a non profit, state approved, post-secondary education institution offering a variety of complementary healing arts classes. The celebration also will serve as a kick-off fund-raiser for the purchase of a building to house the school and a free shiatsu clinic to the community.

The celebration will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, May 2, at the Victorian House, located at 2640 Main Street. Parking is free.

The celebration includes a four-course buffet dinner, Taiko drumming, martial arts performance, music and dancing. A raffle and silent auction will be held. A massage table is included in the items to be auctioned. Tickets are $125 or $400 for a table of five. Tickets are available at Tao Healing Art, located at 2309 Main Street, or by calling (310) 396-4877. Visa, Mastercard and checks are accepted.
