A parade is planned in Brentwood this weekend to celebrate America’s heroes. The May 25 “Celebrating Our Heroes” was created to honor and acknowledge those whose lives are dedicated to serving the nation such as military personnel, fire-fighters, police, teachers and community leaders.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Bringham and San Vicente Boulevard and continues west on San Vicente Boulevard to Bundy Drive, ending by 11 a.m.
The parade includes marching bands, Japanese drums, fire department brigades and mounted patrols.
The parade immediately follows the Brentwood 5K/10K Run and ends in time for the Brentwood Greens Festival.
