Mutt Scouts will host a "Mutts and Mochas" dog adoption event Sunday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in partnership with the goodboybob Coffee cafe inside Deus Ex Machina at the corner of Venice and Lincoln boulevards.
The rescue organization will set up a pop-up adoption location in the parking lot, where attendees can meet adoptable rescue dogs.
The event benefits Mutt Scouts, and attendees can order a special Mutt Scouts Mocha from the goodboybob cafe inside Deus Ex Machina. All proceeds from sales of the drink will support Mutt Scouts and its efforts to find homes for rescue dogs.
goodboybob Coffee took its name from its owner's dog, Bob, and each of its three Westside locations has always been dog-friendly. The cafe said the event is one way it hopes to support the Venice community and help Mutt Scouts find homes for rescue dogs.
