Now is your chance to learn about the wealth of Santa Monica’s non-profit organizations.

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Santa Monica Place to host Santa Monica’s first Nonprofit Festival. More than 30 local nonprofits will have exhibit booths on the Third Street Promenade, between Wilshire Boulevard and Arizona Avenue.

The Nonprofit Festival is described as a free, family-friendly event, where atten-dees can learn more about local nonprofits. The booths will have displays about their products and services, people to talk to, and information on how to volunteer and assist the organizations. In addition, a nonprofit resource guide will be available to attendees to reference throughout the year.

“This family friendly event is a great opportunity to tap into the heart of the Santa Monica community,” noted Sharon O’Rourke, public affairs manager for the Gas Company and festival chair. “Santa Monica is home to numerous organizations that provide invaluable support to youth, seniors, the arts, homeless, and more that help foster the great quality of life that Santa Monica is known for.”

The festival will be held on Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa Monica doctor a real sport
