Dr. Ronald Thompson has joined the radiation oncology team at Saint John’s Health Center.

For the past 30 years, Thompson served as the chairman of radiation oncology at Cedars-Sinai. A published author and professor, Thompson is also a fellow of the American College of Radiology, an elected position that only 10 percent of practicing radiologists receive.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Thompson,” said Dr. Robert Wollman, the medical director of oncology at Saint John’s. “He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge along with a commitment to caring and compassionate patient care, all of which add to our already strong program.”

The radiation oncology department at Saint John’s offers advanced radiation treatment for all types of treatment.
