The Heart and Soul of Nursing Open House and Career Fair invites experienced nursing staff RNs and new graduates to Saint John’s Health Center on July 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature information about nursing opportunities at the health center and educational seminars on health care topics.

The seminar will be led with a lectures on “Managing the Spiritual Needs of Patients” by clinical nurse specialist, Chris Maupin and on “The Power of Prayer in Healing” by sister Marlene Panko.

“Nurses are the heart and soul of health care, and we have tremendous respect for all of them,” said Mary Ellen Blakley, a RN and vice president of patient services at St. John’s Health Center.

The open house/career fair will take place in the health center’s team room at 1328 22nd St. For more information on the event and to make reservations, call (310) 829- 8824.
