Oil, oil, everybody’s talking about oil. With massive oil spills from added offshore drilling rigs, we’ll always have George Bush to thank.
As for the surge in Iraq: The surge is another name for a police state with soldiers stationed in volatile neighborhoods to keep Shiites and Sunnis from killing each other. As the Surge winds down, the Iraqi government will implement its own brand of police state not unlike it was under Saddam.
So, what’s the point? Oil in the soil.
