Van Hunt’s show at Temple Bar tonight is billed as a night of “acoustic soul.” Featuring songs from his latest album “Popular,” that means the auditory barometer will measure somewhere between funkalicious jam and groovy, laid-back R&B. The word “sexy” — does the young, crooning musician sing about anything besides relationships? — will unquestionably describe the atmosphere of the bar. Expect electricity, just not the literal kind.
