Malibu Waterworks will be closing the eastbound (south) No. 2 lane of Pacific Coast Highway, the Malibu Beach Pump Station (located at 23900 PCH), today between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in order to inspect a valve.
The area of the closure will be extended from the intersection of Malibu Canyon Road eastbound for approximately 1,200 feet.
No water outages to district customers or fire systems are anticipated. The inspection is routine after heavy rains to see if there is any damage in need of repair.
