Are the City Council members stupid or just totally void of common sense? The Palisades Park is being rapidly undermined by a large number of ground squirrels. Getting rid of these disease-carrying rodents would be an easy and inexpensive job for any pest control outfit.
The council’s backing of $10 million, elaborate engineering projects, and still waiting until next fall, is outright criminal neglect of citizens’ health and welfare.
