Parents looking for some support now have a place to go. “A Place for Parents” in the Kiwanis Kottage will open its doors to the YWCA Santa Monica/Westside on Monday, Sept. 20.

“A Place for Parents” is a parenting program offering ongoing “Toddler/Infant and Me” classes as well as a variety of parent support groups and caregiver/teacher training.

Director Barbara Olinger has a master’s degree in social work and more than 20 years of experience working with children and families in both therapeutic and educational settings. All parents in the community are invited to take advantage of the program, and free childcare is provided for select classes.

The YWCA is located at 2019 14th St. Call (310) 452-3881 for schedules and registration information.
