The new art show at the 18th Street Arts Center opens with a reception this month followed by a Halloween party.
The reception of “The Living,” an exhibition of paintings, installations and visual art, goes from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the center, 1639 18th St.
The Halloween party “Night of the Living” consists of live bands, performance artists, a visual art exhibition and a DJ dance party on Oct. 29 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the center.
Proceeds from the party will benefit the non-profit center.
