On Saturday, thousands of people are expected to attend a peace vigil at the beach in Santa Monica.
Between 2,000 and 4,000 people will gather at the end of Ocean Park, just north of Perry’s and west of the bike and walking path from noon to 3 p.m.
Environmentalist John Quigley who stationed himself in a tree in Santa Clarita for the past several months is expected to speak to the crowd and music from the Agape Choir will be performed. A formation of a human peace sign will be done by participants.
