City Councilman Kevin McKeown will lead the Santa Monica College Concert Band this weekend at the college.
McKeown will serve as conductor for the Concert Band, who will be performing their annual Pops concert on Sunday, June 6, at 4 p.m. at the SMC Concert Hall, 1900 Pico Blvd. Music performed will be by such artists as Henry Mancini, Charles Ives, PDQ Bach and George Gershwin, and will include a special salute to John Williams and the Summer Olympics. Tickets are $8.
