Recently I had the pleasure of enjoying your beach front in Santa Monica and watch my grandchildren enjoy playing in the Pacific Ocean. I too live near the beach in Florence, Oregon (slightly cooler water here).
I met enjoyable people on the pier, the beach and took in the markets along your front street. I appreciated it all.
One of the persons I enjoyed greatly was one of your freelance writers and I would have enjoyed a longer visit since I too do freelance writing.
The past 28 years I have been a realtor in Oregon and couldn’t help but sing the praises of our white dunes and beaches in the Florence area. I hope some of your residents will pay us a visit sometime and also enjoy our beaches, river and many lakes.
Thank you for the warm hospitality your community showed me.
