Prop. 93 limits on legislators’ terms in office

Published:

If denied, it would allow members of the state legislature to continue to serve a maximum of 14 years in office — up to six years in the Assembly and eight years in the Senate. We believe that the current formula is working fine and should continue to be the rule of the state. It appears that the proposition’s approval would just allow select politicians to extend their current tenures in Sacramento, which appears to be a bit self serving on their parts. We believe in the old adage: If it isn’t broke don’t fix it.
