Hello, I had never read “That Rutherford Guy” and was moved by his skill and dedication to deepening our understanding of the legacy of Buddy Holly (“The day the music died a quiet death,” page 4, Feb. 8). Thank you for including John W. Whitehead’s article and providing a way to connect to his thought provoking and inspiring site and foundation. I appreciate your commitment to the Santa Monica Daily Press, providing us with an interesting and informing paper for our neighborhood.
