Rapiscan, a Los Angeles-based security inspection company and a division of OSI Systems Inc., has been named the Official Provider of Physical Screening and Security Technology Hardware/Software Solutions of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as an Official Supporter of Team USA.
The partnership positions the company to support one of the world's largest and most complex sporting events through screening technologies, integrated security hardware and software, and physical security expertise.
The 2028 Games will bring together the world's top athletes with millions of spectators, volunteers and stakeholders. Rapiscan says it will help LA28 plan, deploy and operate coordinated safety and security capabilities at scale.
The company combines AI-enabled screening hardware, access control technologies, security software, and physical security training and operational support into integrated solutions for complex, high-consequence environments. Rapiscan has helped secure major sporting events and critical infrastructure worldwide, including in Australia, Qatar, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and the United States.
