The rap artist known as “THE GAME” pleaded no contest Monday to possession of a firearm in a school zone in connection with a 2007 pickup basketball game.

Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Tien Pham said Jaceyon Terrell Taylor, 28, received three years formal probation, 60 days county jail (with two days credit) and 150 hours of community service.

Taylor, who is scheduled to surrender in the next week, allegedly got into an altercation with a player on an opposing team during a basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South Los Angeles. After punching the victim, Taylor allegedly pulled a gun from his Escalade and threatened to shoot the victim.
