I’d been trying to catch up on the archive editions because I could not find the paper version by the main post office. I noticed the boxes were gone seemingly overnight. Thank you for the story about the boxes (“News you can lose,” Dec. 5). I did have a hard time finding alternate boxes for the SMDP.
I sure hope we are not subjected to condo mania in the Mid-City area. So now, instead of walking to the movies and to a store to pick up some healthy food, we have to get in our car and drive to the already overcrowded downtown area and fight for parking with the thousands of commuters. We know you can’t ride a bike either, because you will get crucified as a heretic if you try to ride an bike in this city anymore.
Something is really wrong with this picture.
