Hillary Clinton winning the Democratic primary in New Hampshire is like Mike Huckabee winning the Republican caucus in the evangelical stronghold of Iowa. Will Democrats, in their selection of a viable presidential nominee, field a candidate like Hillary Clinton who attracts immense animosity (not an overstatement) from a large segment of society or will they go with a candidate who encompasses all demographics in America?
Let’s hope Hillary’s war chest of millions doesn’t distort the Democrats’ selection process because the GOP would like nothing better than to see Hillary Clinton run against their candidate of choice in the 2008 presidential election. Ron Lowe Santa Monica
