[Last Saturday,] I waited for the Big Blue Bus at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. At 8:50 a.m. I saw the Route 1 bus coming and flagged him down. This has to be done a lot with the Big Blue Bus. The driver did not stop for me. Not only did he not stop, he laughed and waved at me. It was not the first time this has happened to me ….
I've had enough of these rude Big Blue Bus drivers, and I hope those who use the system are also tired of having to flag down a bus only to be left standing while the driver deliberately and maliciously drives past. If you have had enough of this rude behavior like me, then I urge you to call the Big Blue Bus customer service number at (310) 451-5444, press number four for an agent and voice a complaint about the driver. They will need to know the date and time, bus route and street, and the bus number … to help the agents report the driver to the operations manager, since obviously the bus driver does not stop and a person is not able to get his or her name.
If more customers … call and report deliberately mean and unprofessional drivers, then maybe the operations manager will finally get off his or her butt and train the drivers the proper customer service and respect we, the paying public, are entitled to. It is our bus system, not theirs.
