SAN BERNARDINO Hot licks: Musician’s home studio burns

Published:

Fire destroyed the home recording studio of musician Al Wilson, who had a hit with “Show and Tell” in the 1970s.

Firefighters took 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze that ripped through Wilson’s garage studio Monday night, said Battalion Chief Mike Alder.

Damage was estimated at $100,000. The cause was under investigation, Alder said. Wilson’s “Show and Tell” shot up the singles charts in 1973 and sold more than a million copies.
