Petition denied. As I understand it, trees [on Second and Fourth streets] will be replaced by trees — not exactly little petunia patches. Mr. Rubin, can’t you gracefully accept defeat and turn to other worthy causes, please?
Transients are in the news almost daily, commit-ting thefts, assaults and other unsavory acts in ever swelling numbers. How about giving that some thought for a welcome change? We have three recent unsolved murders, another bloody assault last Sunday, many unsafe crossings for pedestrians and bicycle issues. Quite a list for you and Treesavers to choose from.
Again, please give other issues some thought … and some of us a welcome rest.
