A barbershop quartet is ready to sing in the summer. Santa Monica Chorus is inviting the public to a summer celebration on June 26 at 2 p.m. After the show, a complimentary summer dessert will be offered. Guest performers include 2003 Sweet Adelines International Region 11 Quartet Champions.
Santa Monica Chorus is an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, “a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop (four-part a cappella) harmony through education and performance.”
The summer celebration will be held at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church located at 1343 Ocean Park Blvd., at the corner of Ocean Park Boulevard and 14th Street. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (310) 450-8989.
