By Ronald T. Davis Immediate Past President 2006-07 Santa Monica Kiwanis Club
I wanted to pass along my thanks to Brandon Wise and the Daily Press in featuring the Kiwanis International float from the Rose Parade on the cover of the Thursday, Jan. 3 issue ( “In full bloom”).
The local club, Santa Monica Kiwanis, and other community service organizations in this town do a terrific job in giving back to the community in which its members work and live.
We focus on the youth of the Westside and help support many of the local organizations that have the day-to-day involvement with our young citizens. I encourage all Santa Monican’s to come out to these service groups such as Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary and more and lend your time and join our cause.
