Once again our brilliant city leaders spring to the forefront. Save water, cut back on the yard watering, etc., etc., etc. And at the same time these morons are in the process of putting in center islands on Colorado Avenue with about 20 sprinkler heads in each unit. Our leaders, if you want to call them that, are setting a fine example for us all to follow.
Who is to blame? Traffic engineering, city parks department? Who knows. The city obviously has more money than common sense. It is time to elect a group of leaders that might not know how to set an example and think, damn it, think!
