Santa Monica You can’t have it both ways

Poor Bill Bauer. He just can’t seem to see the relationship between his support for rent control, SMRR, “affordable housing” policies, and the totalitarian socialist regime that runs this city.

It seems he is perfectly comfortable when the party machine buys a majority control of the city with monies stolen from private property owners, but he is then surprised when the party exercises its power to impose its will on his personal transportation wishes.

Sorry, Mr. Bill. You can’t have it both ways. So long as you support a government based on theft, you will have to dance to their fiddle.

Bike lanes, bus lanes, bulb-outs, curb extensions, wide sidewalks, pedestrian enhancements, dazzling crosswalks, radar speed traps, crossing guards, roundabouts, traffic calming, carpool and bus mandates, high-density urban development, premium parking rates, and slow at-grade light rail are all coming, courtesy of the cabal.

You can’t expect them not to indoctrinate us with “Two wheels good, four wheels bad,” when you continue to re-elect them.
