It’s no mystery that readers are rewarded for the time they spend reading. Beginning this summer, children ages 2 and up, and teens in grade 6 to 12 can sign up at the Main Library (601 Santa Monica Blvd.) for the Summer Reading Program.
Participants can earn prizes for completing entire books, or for being present at book readings for up to 15 hours. Teens that complete 30 hours of total reading time will receive raffle tickets for a grand prize drawing and an invitation to the end-of-summer Teen Party.
