Venice Arts Gallery presents the experimental work of a group of young, female photographers who are all students in the Venice Arts Advanced Studies Program. The girls, ages ranging from 14 to 16 years, are Ursula Barker, Esme Jackson, Elena Nardini, Alex Thomas and Francesca Thomas.

Opening on June 2 and running through June 30, the exhibit features documentary photography, self-portraits, environmental portraits, and experimental work.

Each piece in the exhibit is a uniquely individual representation of its artist according to Joanne Kim, the Lead Artist/Mentor at Venice Arts.

The exhibit’s opening reception will take place on June 9, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Venice Gallery, located at 1809 Lincoln Boulevard in Venice.

For more information about the girls and the exhibit, visit www.venice-arts.org/about/hearit/hearit.html.
