You can make a difference in a child’s life — today. For the past two weeks, more than 40 children have made journeys from Colombia and Russia to Southern California to join Kidsave’s Seventh Annual Summer Miracles program. The six-week summer program will highlight the plight of orphanage and foster care kids worldwide who need loving, permanent homes, officials say.
Kidsave and Broadway Gymnastics school invite all of the present and past Kidsave host families and children, and will provide an opportunity for those families interested in meeting these lively and happy kids at the first event of the summer in Santa Monica.
Today will be a gymnastics training session at the Broadway Gymnastics School, where next week Olympic Gold-Medalists Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner will lead the camp.
The event will take place today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Broadway Gymnastics School, 5433 Beetoven St.
