The Los Angeles Sparks will be at Santa Monica Beach on Sunday helping to make the beach a little cleaner for everyone.
Members of the professional women’s basketball team will arrive at 10 a.m., just north of the Santa Monica Pier.
A few minutes later, Heal the Bay, one of the largest non-profit organizations in Los Angeles County, will make a presentation. Heal the Bay is asking for help from everyone to help make the Santa Monica Bay safe and healthy for both people and marine life.
The event will last all morning and into the afternoon. Fans who want to meet Sparks players are encouraged to attend and help them clean up the beach.
