The neighborhood group Friends of Sunset Park has posted online answers from candidates for City Council and the local college board.
The responses can be found at www.friendsofsunsetpark.org, along with statements for and against Measure S, a proposed $135 million college bond measure.
“We are pleased that so many candidates responded to our questionnaires, which focused on issues in our neighborhood,” said Zina Josephs, president of Friends of Sunset Park.
Friends of Sunset Park is a non-profit neighborhood organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all residents in the Sunset Park area of Santa Monica. The borders of Sunset Park are Lincoln Boulevard to the west, Pico Boulevard to the north, the east city limits, and the south city limits. Within its borders lie Santa Monica Airport, Santa Monica College, Clover Park and Fairview Library.
