The annual Main Street “Summer Soulstice Festival” is back and will be highlighted by musical groups playing in the Edgemar courtyard.

On Sunday, June 20, from noon to 6 p.m., three groups will take turns in setting the mood for the much-awaited event.

Noon to 2 p.m. — Richard and Brothers Barton — virtuoso old-time and new acoustic string band music. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Jacqueline Fuentes & Ensemble — world music with South American roots. 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. — The Western Continentals — classic country and honky tonk in the Bakersfield tradition, and western swing (music of Bob Wills).
