SUNSET PARK — Parking Enforcement Officer Micah Mitchell came close to losing toes Tuesday morning as he helped a constant flow of cars navigate the narrow intersection at 20th and Pearl streets.
CITYWIDE — The Los Angeles City Attorney came out strongly against legislation proposed by a Santa Monica assemblywoman that would put digital signs on the sides of buses, saying that the move would negatively impact Angelenos.

CITYWIDE — Robert Arroyo had a problem. A frequent rider of Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus system, Arroyo was noticing what he considered to be poor driving habits amongst some of the bus drivers, which he dutifully reported to the Big Blue Bus administration.

DOWNTOWN — Members of bike activist group Santa Monica Spoke got the first peek at City Hall’s draft plan for bicycle facilities and improvements across the next two decades, and, for the most part, they seemed pleased.

CIVIC CENTER — A gray sky and a sprinkling of summer mist were not enough to keep some curious Santa Monicans from catching a glimpse of City Hall’s proposed bike sharing plan earlier this week.
