I must commend the CHP for saving lives. On Sunday I passed four highway patrol umbrellas and many officers doing a wonderful job (which they trained for).
By appointment only they install safety seats, and most everyone there needed help. Lives will be saved by their dedication. It happened that most of the people there had tiny infants, and were being taught how to properly install their babies. Luckily I had my 4 year old (who was in an obsolete seat, and I didn’t even know it). They trashed my seat and installed a brand new one, with many directions to me, and instructions to (my son) Danny, who listened intently.
I don’t think our police, firemen, highway patrol are thanked enough. Shake their hands, buy them a coffee, invite them to dinner, do something nice for these dedicated men and women who put their lives on the line for us.
