A viewing party will be held at a local bar next week for the light-heavyweight champion boxer who will make his television debut.

The premiere viewing party for “The Ultimate Fighter” will be held on Jan. 17 at The Over/Under Club at 14 Below. Doors open at 10 p.m., and the show on Spike TV airs at 11 p.m. Admission is free.

Lodune Sincaid, “The Vanilla Gorilla,” will be making his television debut with 16 other ultimate fighters from across the Americas with one dream, one goal — to become The Ultimate Fighter.

Sincaid, a 31-year-old award-winning fighter from St. Paul, Minn., and U.S. Navy veteran, is presently living in Ventura County and training with Team Freedom at Knock Out Gym in Westlake Village. He has also trained with martial arts legends Gene Lebelle, Gokor Chivichian and Benny “The Jet” Urquidez. Lodune was an all-conference wrestler in high school in the 160-pound class.

The 16 fighters arrive in Las Vegas to begin their journey towards the UFC contract. The fighters will see the UFC training center for the first time, and will meet the coaches who will be training them over the next several weeks. In the end, The Ultimate Fighter will be decided by a competition match — a head-to-head fight to the finish inside the Octagon, which will be live in Las Vegas in April.
