OCEAN PARK — Three suspects eluded police early Tuesday after smashing into four parked cars on Fourth Street, one of which was occupied by a woman. She was not injured, police said.

At about 12:05 a.m., the suspects, who were in a 1998 Buick Park Avenue stolen from Flaglore, Colo., lost control of the vehicle after hitting a curb at the traffic circle at the intersection of Fourth Street and Strand Avenue while traveling northbound.

The Park Avenue smashed into a parked car, which was then pushed into the car in front of it, causing it to flip over. The woman was reading a book when her car was hit and subsequently overturned. Her car then smashed into the car in front, according to police.

The suspects fled from the scene on foot. They are described to be either white or Hispanic, all in their 20s.

The total damage sustained remains unclear, except that a palm tree was knocked down and the stolen vehicle sustained major front-end damage.
