A local church this weekend will return to the medieval days of meditation. First United Methodist Church will have on exhibit its labyrinth, an ancient meditation tool that was used to center and prayer. The free event will be held on Sunday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m. to noon and then again at 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The labyrinth is a 30-by-30 canvas with the traditional design painted on it. It’s a replica of the one that was in the front of Chartres Cathedral in the Middle Ages.
