Synergy Cafe & Lounge will be host to a concert benefiting the Linda Blair Foundation, an organization that raises awareness of animal cruelty issues like overpopulation and dog fighting. Look out Michael Vick. Blair is best known for her role as Regan Teresa MacNeil, the possessed girl who spewed pea soup in “The Exorcist.”
Grassroots Acoustica Number 5 is putting on the event free of charge. The group operates on a donation only basis and has raised over $2,500 since its formation in July. JM
