I have lived and worked in Santa Monica for many years and realize the congestion is constantly worsening but I don’t believe narrowing the street on Ocean Park is the answer. I feel that traffic would flow better if there were more left turn arrows in the east/west directions. I don’t understand why the left turn light at 20 Street and Pico Boulevard (going east/west) has not been activated. Narrowing Ocean Park Boulevard only contributes to cars sitting, burning fuel and drivers becoming frustrated and angry. I haven’t spoken to anyone that feels this change has been a positive one. Please consider more east/west, left-turn signals.
