Where to vote, or drop your ballot

The General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. Every active registered voter in Los Angeles County gets a ballot in the mail by Oct. 5. Here is how to return it on time, plus the official county map of vote centers and drop boxes.

Your ballot is on its way. Mail it back by Tuesday, Oct. 27 to be safe, or drop it at any official ballot box or vote center by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Any location in LA County works.

By mail

No stamp needed. Postmarked by Nov. 3 and received within 7 days, it counts.

Mail by Oct. 27 to be safe
Drop it off instead
Option 2

Drop box

Seal, sign & date your return envelope, then drop it at any official box. Open until 8:00 PM on Election Day.

Vote center

Vote in person, register, or return your ballot. Open 10 AM–7 PM daily, 7 AM–8 PM on Nov. 3.
